Despite the squash bugs decimating our garden, we were able to salvage about 30 pumpkins. From those, about 18 survived the front porch 😅.

On October 10 last year I processed pumpkins…so today felt like a good day to tackle this project. Thankfully I had lots of help ❤️ Blessed with a good harvest!

Garden update 8/28/24 - the squash bugs are mocking me, corn harvested and ready for the freezer (lots to learn and change for next year!) and habaneros are turning orange! 🥳

This year was leaps and bounds better for our corn harvest, but we’re forever learning and adjusting for the better.

Our first successful watermelon from the garden! 🥳
